Mirzapur, India's heart of hand-knotted carpet weaving, is home to Paliram Carpets — a business built on three generations of dedication and craftsmanship.
The journey began when founder Shri Paliram Lakshmi Narayan migrated from Surajgarh (Rajasthan) to Mirzapur — then a thriving inland waterway trading hub. After establishing early ventures in banking, textiles, and manufacturing, the family launched its dedicated handmade carpet enterprise in 1976 under the banner of Paliram Laxminarain.
Today, entering its 50th Golden Jubilee year in 2026, the company is led by 3rd generation partner K. Aditya Khaitan (Alumnus of SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai). Under his modern leadership, Paliram Carpets has expanded from traditional B2B international exports to bespoke luxury interior collaborations with top Indian architects, hotel projects, and luxury home decorators.
